Video: Interview with Michigan sophomore quarterback Shane Morris

Adam Biggers

Shane Morris is ready.

He's ready.

I repeat: He's ready.

As a freshman, the Wolverines quarterback showed incredible poise while his team was bombarded by Kansas State during the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl (31-14, for those who care to remember).

Despite the loss, Morris--who pitched in relief for Devin Gardner, the ace who then had a broken right foot--threw for 196 yards on 24-for-38 passing (63.2 percent). He manged the game well, and with another year of experience, he's absolutely, "100 percent" ready to shoulder the load under center any time his team needs him.

The 6'3", 202-pound former Warren De La Salle superstar is determined. If you're a Michigan fan, you have to admire his attitude and work ethic.

Highlights: Nuss isn't a lefty anymore (today is national lefty day), and players know when he's mad. Just ask Morris, who covers that bit during the interview.
