Goodrich point guard Tania Davis has committed to Iowa, per Eric Woodyard of The Flint Journal (MLive.com).
Davis, a senior, had offers from Kansas, DePaul, West Virginia, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan and Western Michigan. At just 5'5", she says her "little person syndrome" fuels her desire to better competitors, per Woodyard.
A Flint native, Davis, whose parents were also standouts on the court, learned to play the game before she hit grade school. She'll join teammate Alexis Sevillian in Iowa City.
After an excellent career with the Martians, Aketra "Ke-Ke" Sevillian committed to Penn State in 2011.
Goodrich won state titles in 2012 and 2013 and continues to develop Division-I level talent. There must be something in the water.
